The 16th London battalion of 169 Brigade, 56th Division spent the first two weeks of June 1918 in the front line at Arras during which time seven men were either killed of died from wounds but the Battalion Diary does not go into any further detail. Frank Wherrett, who was killed on 15th June, was one of these seven men. |
